About Us
Our Model
Services at NLDM support single parent families as they progress toward stable housing, long-term employment, and personal growth.
Personal and Professional Development: Our training center hosts workshops and classes available to the entire Louisville Community. (Courses include Parenting 101, Financial Empowerment, Job Readiness, Mindfulness)
Wrap Around Case Management and Referrals: This helps participants build and manage personal growth plans. We also make connections and referrals to services not offered on-site. (therapy, medical, sobriety, etc.)
Childhood Development: We aim to remove this barrier for our participants and the community of Southern Louisville by partnering with a provider to offer on-site, affordable, childcare.
Housing Support and Programs: There are 20 units on site that are reserved for full-time program participants. To qualify for an application to the housing program, people must be A) an active participant in training workshops and B) a single parent/expecting parent (children under 6 are the best fit for our residential program).
